Former Super Eagles coach Siasia in jeopardy as mum's kidnappers demand N70M ransom

Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia is in danger of losing his mother as her kidnappers have demanded a ransom of 70 million naira for her release.

76 year-old Beauty Siasia was taken away by unidentified armed men on Monday, from her home in Odoni, Sagbama Local Government of Bayelsa State.

This is the second time in four years the septuagenarian will be kidnapped and ransom demanded.

“The Nigeria Police Force are doing their best and I hope they get her back,” Siasia informed The PUNCH.

“The abductors have demanded N70m as ransom, which is alarming, though no amount is too much to get the soul of one innocent person out of danger.

“We are pleading that they be considerate in their demands as well. They should please release my mother.”

Siasia’s mother was reportedly taken away by the kidnappers without taking along her Blood Pressure drugs and mobile phone.

Siasia spent one year as coach of the Super Eagles - between November 2010 and October 2011 and was fired for failing to qualify Nigeria for the 2012 AFCON.
