Brazilian and PSG star Neymar has revealed that Sergio Ramos is the toughest opponent he has ever faced in his glittering career.
The forward, who moved to PSG in 2017, spoke while participating in a Q&A promoting his global 'Neymar Jr's Five' tournament.
"The best player I've faced? Sergio Ramos," Neymar began. "Because he's an excellent central defender and what's more, he scores goals. He's very difficult to play against,"
Neymar came up against the Spanish defender on numerous occasions during the famous El Classico ties while at Barcelona, before departing for the French capital.
He further revealed that he considers Lionel Messi as the best player in the world, admitting it was an honour to play alongside him.
"For me, he's the best player in the world," Neymar said. "The best that I've seen play,"
"We made a magnificent duo, it was a pleasure for me and an honour to play with him. And on top of that, he's my friend."
The Brazilian is thought to be engineering a move back to Spain, with his former club leading the chase for his signature.
Madrid have also been mentioned as a possible destination for the 27-year-old, who joined PSG in a world record £200 million deal.
