Kampala City Council head coach Mike Hillary Mutebi described his teams 4-3 win over Zambian side Green Eagles at the ongoing CECAFA Kagame Cup as the best match so far in the tournament.
Mutebi explained that football was about goals and attacking which the match provided. He was also not amused that his side made it to the final as it was their target.
"It was our objective to go to the final so am not surprised. When we came for this tournament we said we must go all the way however we have been challenged especially today we faced an aggressive side. It was a very good match overall. Football is about goals and attacking. People want to see goals and I think today was the best game so far, " he said.
" We played better than them and we could have scored more goals. We played in midfield but our challenge was upfront the youngsters were in a hurry and at times panicked but they are young sometimes decision making comes with experience, "he added.
Midfielder ace Allan Okello scored a brace while Mike Mutyaba and Anaku Sadat scored a goal each. Amity Shamende scored a double for Eagles with Substitute Christopher Chola scoring the other goal.
KCCA will face the winner between AS Maniena and defending Champions AZAM in the final while the losing team will battle Eagles in the third and fourth playoff.
