Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has for the first spoken on the club's targets, insisting he will still patient despite having not completed a single signing in the current window.
Emery further revealed that he is not willing to settle for second choice targets, and will hold on to the end for the first-choice targets.
The club is in for St. Etienne defender William Saliba, who had a breakthrough season last time out with the French outfit.
Negotiations between the two sides have dragged on for long, but Emery has insisted he is willing to wait to sign the 18-year-old.
"Really I am with patience because we want to choose the best solution. Some players are very expensive and we are waiting for this possibility. We don’t want now to go to the second line of players," he said when asked if he is happy to wait for Saliba.
"We are waiting. We have very good players. We have very good young players," he added.
The manager further noted that he is happy with the team's 'business' in the current window, despite negotiations dragging.
"It really doesn’t disturb our preparation. The result isn’t important. Today we won 3-0 but they created chances to score. I am happy with the match," he replied after their 3-0 win over Fiorentina.
Arsenal will continue with their tour of the US, when they face Real Madrid on Tuesday.
