North London side Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a deal to sign Ryan Sessegnon from Championship side Fulham following a breakthrough in talks between the two clubs.
The Telegraph reports that the negotiations have involved Spurs midfielder Josh Onomah while the Cottagers have also shown an interest in winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou who were both left out of Spurs tour to Asia.
It is unclear whether or not the duo have been offered as part of a Spurs bid for Sessegnon or whether Fulham would try to sign either player with the cash raised on the 19-year-old.
Fulham’s interest in Onomah and Nkoudou has helped to push negotiations along and Sessegnon is now expected to become a Tottenham player.
Spurs are likely to pay around £20 million plus add-ons for Sessegnon, who only has one year remaining on his Fulham contract.
Apart from the duo, Spurs are trying to offload left-back Danny Rose and last week banked £20m for Kieran Trippier, who joined Atletico Madrid.
Should he sign, Sessegnon will follow club record-signing Tanguay Ndombele to Tottenham and winger Jack Clarke, who has been sent back to Leeds United on loan.
