Three New players named in Zesco United CAF Champions league squad

Zesco United have included three new players in their 2019/2020 CAF Champions League squad. The new players are Ugandan striker Kasumba Umaru from Kenyan Premier League side Sofapaka, Savior Konkola from Prison Leopards and midfielder Thabani Kamusoko from Tanzanian giants Yanga.

Umaru scored seventeen (17) goals he the just ended Kenya Premier League season and managed five assists for Sofapaka. Kasumba ended the season has the third-highest goalscorer behind Enoch Ochieng (20) and Allan Wetende Wanga.

Kamusoko, 31, brings a wealth of experience to the Zesco United midfield. The surprise omission from the squad is Ghanian striker Rahim Osumanu. Japanese midfielder Kosuke Nakamachi and young midfielder Edward Tembo have also been registered.
