Stoke City manager Nathan Jones is optimistic the return of Oghenekaro Etebo to the squad will bring fortune.
The Potters are without a win in their opening two games of the campaign after losing to Queens Park Rangers and Charlton Athletic.
Etebo missed both matches following his late arrival after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
“Etebo, McClean and Edwards are back now, so we’re in a better place than we were on Friday,” Jones told a news conference on Monday.
“We’ll be very competitive tomorrow (Tuesday) no matter what team we put out tomorrow. We have two players for every position now.
“We’re close to being a really good side. We were excellent at Charlton and I’m pleased and proud with how we played.”
Stoke City will face Wigan Athletic in their Carabao Cup First Round clash at the DW Stadium on Tuesday.
