Arsenal's new signings failed to start in their opening game against Newcastle United with Unai Emery giving little away when asked if he would start any of his summer arrivals against Burnley.
The Gunners had an outstanding transfer window after landing Kerian Tierney, David Luiz, Gabriel Martinelli, Daniel Ceballos, on loan from Real Madrid, William Saliba and Nicolas Pepe, the latter costing a club record £72m. Pepe and Ceballos have already featured for Arsenal in their 1-0 win over Newcastle last weekend.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Burnley clash, Emery was asked if the new signings are ready, "Each player is different. After Newcastle and this week the players are working well. We can decide to choose different options in each position. Really I think we need to be competitive. We need different options to decide who is better each match.
"The new players, the players who were with us last year, the young players, we can achieve our way each match with confidence."
