Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed what he has communicated to his former assistant Rhulani Mokwena.
Following Milutin Micho Sredojevic’s departure from Orlando Pirates last week, former Sundowns assistant Mokwena has now taken charge of Pirates.
The young coach’s former mentor Mosimane was quickly asked to share his reaction to the news of Mokwena’s taking the Pirates hot seat.
"I even texted Rhulani also to wish him luck. He has been looking for that and he got the opportunity to do it," said Mosimane to Kick Off.
The man known as Jingles further encouraged Mokwena to look beyond his opening loss to Highlands Park last on Saturday night in Soweto - as his journey is still long and open.
"Rhulani, I told you guys when he was still next to me that I think he is going to be better than me in future. But you know how football is. He still has to travel the road, his route.”
"He must not worry about the loss [against Highlands Park] because it's part of football,” concluded Mosimane.
