Zambia National team striker Patson Daka scored a hatrick for Redbull Salzburg who demolished second Division side Blau Weiss Linz 7-1 in a friendly match.
Salzburg who came into the match off the back of a huge six nil league win over St.Pölten which equalled their best ever away win in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Sekou Koita put Salzburg in the lead just nine minutes into the match. The 2017 CAF young player of the year doubled the lead five minutes later after being put through on goal with a beautiful pass from midfield.
Koita made it three 10 minutes later before Smail Prevljak could widen the gap to four. Daka grabbed his brace 10 minutes to half time with a beautiful headed goal to take the match to the break with Salzburg having an emphatic 5-0 lead.
Linz pulled one back nine minutes into the second stanza but fifteen minutes to time Daka completed his hatrick restoring Salzburg's five-goal lead.
Enock Mwepu who put in a decent shift was hacked in the box seven minutes to time and Diarra stepped up to convert and seal the 7-1 win.
Salzburg who leads the Bundesliga log with 12 points from four games faces Admira Wacker on Sunday as they aim to make it five league wins in a row.
