Chelsea has received a timely injury boost as their young winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has returned to full training.
The youngster has been out of action since he suffered a serious injury after only 41 minutes of action during a 2-2 draw against Burnley on April 23 but now looks fit to return to the playing unit to bolster Chelsea’s attack.
The 18-year-old winger has returned to full training and was seen in action with the rest of the team on Tuesday.
His recovery is sweet music to manager Frank Lampard's ears and provides a timely boost to a side that has struggled to pick a win in the opening matches.
The Blues suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Manchester United in their opening fixture of the season, before another defeat at the hands of Liverpool in the Uefa Super Cup final.
Their third match ended in a 1-1 draw at home to Leicester and will be in the hunt for a first win when they visit Norwich over the weekend.
Hudson-Odoi, who has been tipped for a great future, will provide further options on the wing, even though Lampard has options including Willian, Pedro and Pulisic.
He is expected to gain full fitness by the start of September.
