Matteo Guendouzi is confident Arsenal will not suffer a similar defeat to last season at Anfield when they take on Liverpool in an English Premier League match on Saturday.
The Gunners were on the receiving end of a 5-1 mauling last time at the ground, and the Frenchman believes they have strengthened compared the to the side that turned out for the match.
Speaking ahead of the tie, Guendouzi was however quick to point out that it will not be an easy task, but they will be ready for the challenge.
"Last year was not our finest hour but it's very different to last season, it's a new game and new team so I don't see why it would be the same result,” Guendouzi told Sky Sports.
"We've had a much better start as well - last year we started with two losses but this year we are already six points up,"
"We have a better team overall and we're feeling good about ourselves, we have a good team and we believe in ourselves,"
"I know we can do really well, we are going there to win and I believe we can beat any Premier League side,"
Liverpool's front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino were all on target during the match, with the Brazilian grabbing a hattrick.
The strikers are all available for the tie, and the Gunners will need to be at their best to stop them and in particular Firmino, who enjoys scoring against them.
The two sides are tied on six points at the top of the English Premier League table, but the Reds have a superior goal difference.
