Manchester United striker Antony Martial is enjoying his partnership upfront alongside Marcus Rashford and is confident it can only get better with time.
The two strikers have each scored two goals out of two in the new Premier League season, and their partnership is growing by the day.
The French international has now revealed how the two work together in training, and often switch roles during matches to 'terrorise' the opposition.
"In training, we [him & Rashford] have this competition between us about scoring goals. We measure who does the best finishing and who scores the most. Who's winning? Well, that depends... Sometimes it's him, sometimes it's me," Martial told Sky Sports.
"In games, Marcus likes to play in the middle, like me. I don't mind dropping off, dropping out, we interchange during games. It doesn't bother me to let him take the lead occasionally. It helps us to terrorise opposition defences and I hope we can keep it up over the course of the season," he added.
Coach Ole Gunnar's playing style allows the two men to thrive up front, and they easily interchange to a great effect.
Martial's well-taken goals against Wolves and Chelsea were perfect indicators of how the new formation allows the two to impressively switch.
