Former Leicester City striker Joe Dodoo exits Rangers by mutual consent

Scottish Premier League club Rangers have reportedly confirmed the immediate exit of Joe Dodoo from the side by mutual consent according to Football Ghana.

Dodoo previously plied his trade for Leicester City before signing with Rangers in 2016 - he made approximately 27 league appearances, scoring five goals in the process.

"He departs with the best wishes of everyone at Rangers," said a club statement.

The 25-year-old was also shipped out on loan to Charlton Athletic for a potion of 2017 and English One side Blackpool during the course of the 2018/19 season.

Dodoo trained with the senior national team of Ghana ahead of their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius in May 2016.
