Young players are always worth their weight in gold because of the massive potential they possess.

Here are five teenagers making big waves in Europe.

🇵🇹 Jõao Félix

A massive-money move from Benfica to Atletico Madrid has already started to pay dividends for the Spanish capital club. Felix has scored once in three LaLiga outings and started all three of them. Félix is seen as the heir-apparent to Cristiano Ronaldo in the Portugal national team, and they'll face up to one another on Wednesday when Atletico hosts Juventus on matchday 1 of the Champions League group stages. That's an exciting prospect, just like Félix.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Jadon Sancho

Dortmund's lightning-quick winger seems to have already crossed the bridge between potential and the finished product. At 19, he's already notched doubled figures for both goals & assists last season in the Bundesliga and became the youngest ever player to notch 15 strikes in the Bundesliga. He also recently scored his first goals for England in their 5-3 win over Kosovo. He looks set to be a key component of England's Euro 2020 and World Cup 2022 setups.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Phil Foden

Phil Foden will only turn 22 at World Cup 2022, and he's been described by Pep Guardiola as " the most talented player he's ever worked with" which is quite a statement, considering that Pep has coached the likes of Lionel Messi in the past. Foden is blessed with a wonderful left foot and there’s an effortlessness about his play when he glides across a pitch. He is most likely to develop into an attacking midfielder.

🇬🇼 Ansu Fati

The Guinea-Bissau star is only 16 years old but he's already announced himself on the LaLiga stage. Fati has scored the first goal in Barcelona's last two matches and looks set to play a role tonight, even from the bench, against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. First-team opportunities might be limited in the company of the likes of Griezmann, Suarez and Messi, but Fati looks like he has what it takes. The scintillating young wide attacker is the youngest-ever player to claim a goal and assist in the same LaLiga match, and he has seven months to become the youngest ever Champions League goal-scorer. Remember the name of Anssumane Fati.

🇦🇴 Eduardo Camavinga

The elegant left-footed midfielder was recently voted as the Ligue 1 player of the month, making him the youngest-ever player to win that specific award. His calm, composed performance for Rennes in their 2-1 win over Champions PSG last month made everyone stand up and take notice, and his progress is definitely worth watching. Angola might just have a new superstar in the making.
