The Gunners squad was dotted all around the world in the recent international break.
How did their players perform for their countries as they intensify preparations for a visit to Watford on Sunday?
🇪🇸 Dabi Ceballos
The man on-loan from Real Madrid started in Spain's Euro 2020 qualifier against Romania. In just his seventh cap for La Roja, Ceballos played a prominent role in both of his side's goals and played 76 minutes in the match.
Ceballos was an unused substitute as Robert Moreno's men ran out 4-0 winners over the Faroe Islands in their following match.
🇺🇾 Lucas Torreira
The Uruguayan midfield destroyer was withdrawn before halftime in their 2-1 friendly win over Costa Rica.
For the following 1-1 friendly draw with the United States, Torreira was an unused substitute, which leaves the door open for him to take his place in the Gunners XI this Sunday.
🇫🇷 Matteo Guendouzi
Youngster Matteo Guendouzi has impressed this season and his form was rewarded with a first call to the France senior squad, following Paul Pogba's withdrawal.
Guendouzi was an unused substitute during the 4-1 win Euro 2020 qualifier win over Albania and he also didn't get game time against Andorra, but the call-up to the squad will be a massive boost for the midfielder nonetheless.
🇧🇦 Sead Kolašinac
The Bosnian is a regular for his country and played every minute of his side's two fixtures during the break.
Bosnia thumped Liechtenstein 5-0 before going down 4-2 against Armenia in a performance to forget for Kolasinac and his teammates. Kolasinac picked up an assist in that defeat but Bosnia's qualification hopes now hang by a thread.
Greece's hopes of qualifying for next year's European championships are all-but over after two disappointing results. Sokratis played every minute of his side's 1-0 defeat to high-flying Finland but was powerless as Teemu Pukki's penalty sealed the win for the home side.
🇨🇭 Granit Xhaka
The Swiss midfield man had a mixed bag of an international break. He skippered his side to a 1-1 draw against Northern Ireland and played a full 90 minutes in Dublin in a Euro 2020 qualifier.
Switzerland then saw Gibraltar off comfortably but Xhaka was withdrawn after 74 minutes with an apparent Achilles injury in the 4-0 win.
🇩🇪 Bernd Leno
Arsenal's number one goalkeeper was an unused substitute in both of his side's matches in Euro 2020 qualifying, with the German unable to dislodge Manuel Neuer and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
Germany fell to a 4-2 loss at home to the Netherlands in their opening fixture of the international break, before getting back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Northern Ireland.
🏴 Eddie Nketiah & Reiss Nelson
Having already demonstrated his goalscoring ability during his season-long loan spell with Leeds United, Nketiah transferred that form over to the international stage with a brace in his side's win over Turkey.
The 20-year-old struck either side of two Turkey goals in a 3-2 win for the England U21 side. Nketiah started the following match too, a 2-0 success over Kosovo. That's two wins from two for the Young Lions.
Reiss Nelson's third goal against Turkey proved to be the match-winner for England. He started the win over Kosovo but was withdrawn after 61 minutes.
