Zesco's Japanese midfielder ruled out of Nakambala clash

Japanese midfielder Kosuke Nakamachi has been ruled out of Zesco United's MTN/FAZ Super League rescheduled week two clash against Nakambala Leopards away in Mazabuka.

Zesco United confirmed the development in a post on their official Social media pages.

"Kosuke Nakamachi sustained an injury during training in Tanzania and is not traveling with the team."

The Ndola giants have traveled to Mazubuka this afternoon from Lusaka where they had set up camp after returning from Tanzania. In Tanzania, they held Yanga to a 1-1 draw in a CAF Champions League pre-group stage round first leg encounter.

Zesco United and Nakambala Leopards will square off on Wednesday 18th September 2019 in the FAZ/MTN Superleague. The Super League defending Champions are expected to travel team back to Ndola on Thursday to prepare for their week three clash against Lumwana Radiants set for Saturday 21st September 2019 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
