Chelsea registered their first home victory with Frank Lampard at the helm as they went on to score seven goals against Grimsby Town in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.
Faustino Anjorin became the latest young player to benefit from Chelsea's transfer ban following his introduction in the 67th-minute replacing Pedro - his senior debut since he joined at the age of nine.
Aged 17 years, 10 months and 2 days, Anjorin has become the youngest player of Nigerian descent to debut for Chelsea in domestic competition.
The record was previously held by Fikayo Tomori who was 18 years, 4 months and 26 days when he made his debut for the Blues in the Premier League back in May 2016.
Kurt Zouma, Reece James and Batshuayi found the back of the net to make it 6-1 before Callum Hudson-Odoi found a gap and scored Chelsea's seventh goal.
Tomori and Tammy Abraham were on the bench for the entirety of the game.
