Alexis Sanchez speaks out after controversial red card and bagging a brace

Manchester United loanee Alexis Sanchez has reacted to netting a brace but believes he was unfortunate to be sent off in the 3-1 win over Sampdoria.

Inter took the lead inside the opening 20 minutes when a speculative effort from Stefano Sensi deflected off Sanchez and into the back of the net. Two minutes later and Antonio Conte's side doubled their lead when the Chile international fired from close range. One minute after the resumption of the second half, Sanchez was sent off for diving.

Sanchez took to Instagram to react to his first start for Inter, noting that his red card was unfortunate, "Happy for the win, for the attitude of the team and my first two goals. But sad for the expulsion, for me unfair ... now to think about the next game!"

Inter next face a daunting task against Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday night with Sanchez eligible to play but will miss the league clash against Juventus on Saturday.
