Scott McTominay has revealed that Manchester United players found it hard to take the draw against Arsenal on Monday night.
United gave another lead away after going ahead in games against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Southampton, Rochdale, and Arsenal. The game had started well for McTominay as he netted his first senior strike at home for the club with a thumping effort before half-time but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalized for Arsenal in the second half.
Speaking to MUTV, McTominay revealed how United players reacted to the 1-1 draw against Arsenal, "It is definitely disappointment. With the different opportunities, we had in the game and the way that we started. In the first 45 minutes, we were right on the front foot, we were aggressive and did a lot of things right.
"I thought we were good value for three points tonight. It was little mistakes that we need to start cutting out which are starting to cost us games or cost us points in this case. Everyone in that dressing room knows that it is a tough one to take."
