Barcelona teenage sensation Ansu Fati is set to miss the former's UEFA Champions League match against Serie A side Inter Milan on Wednesday night.
Fati who has been making global headlines this season has scored two goals in his five La Liga appearances.
It came as a surprise when the news was revealed that the 16-year-old would not feature for Barcelona considering how fans fallen in love with him overnight.
However, Give Me Sport publication (via Mundo Deportivo) revealed that Fati's absence is due a persistent knee problem resulting from growing pains.
The youngster is being currently being assessed by the club's medical staff in order to get him back to full recovery and back to the pitch to do what he loves most.
Manager Ernesto Valverde may have to make use of Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele in replacement of Fati, however, there will be isssues in the defense with Junior Firpo also ruled out with an injury.
