Ghana international Andre Ayew has had a rather pleasant start to the 2019/20 season with his club Swansea City in the English Championship.
Ayew has scored four goals for Swansea and contributed three assists as he keeps on proving why he made the decision to stay at the club.
The 29-year-old opened his account for the Swans against Charlton United then went to score in the side's 2-1 defeat to Stoke City.
However, despite finding the back of the net, Ayew has revealed that he prefers to see his side winning when he scores goals and not contributing to the scoreline and the team loses.
“It’s really annoying when you score and don’t win the game,” Citi Newsroom quoted.
“But it’s always good to score for this club. I’m happy to score at home for the fans and I hope there are plenty more to come.
“I also hope there will be more victories ahead of us – that’s more important.”
