Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher believes Sadio Mane is among the best in world football right now and has underlined his importance for the club.
Mane, more than anyone at the club, has been the constant performer, winning the Golden Boot last season alongside Mohamed Salah and Aubameyang.
He has continued from where he left off last season with assured performances in the current campaign, leading the side to a perfect start in the League.
Carragher believes Mane's continued growth since joining Liverpool from Southampton in the summer of 2016 is one of the reasons the Reds have been performing at the very top.
"Even after the first couple of games, I said Mane, probably along with Raheem Sterling, was possibly the best-left winger in the world,"
"I absolutely love him, he's my favorite player at the club. He's brilliant, he's always got a smile on his face, always there, always gets knocked about, gets goals, setting others up,"
"He's the one who came in at the very start under Klopp, his first real big signing, and I think ever since then he's just been getting better and better. He's just a machine,"
The Senegal international has so far scored four goals and assisted once in the Premier League, and continues to underline his importance for the club with impressive performances.
