Manchester United has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Juventus for Mario Mandzukic this as reported by Daily Express.
The striker is set to join United in January in a deal believed to be around £10 million as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to address the striking department in his team.
United was keen on Mandzukic during the summer transfer window after selling Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan but failed to land their man; the club having left with no options but to depend on youngsters to lead their attack.
First Team Chance
The likes of Mason Greenwood and Tatith Chong having been given a chance in the first team in recent weeks following a series of injuries and Mandzukic should come in and ease the burden placed on the shoulders on Marcus Rashford.
United boss only managed to lure three players in Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Daniel James and Harry Maguire in the team but many pundits believe he misses the plot when he failed to bring in a striker.
34-yar old Manzukic is seen as a short term plan for a club that hasn't scored more than once in a game since the 4-0 win over Chelsea on the opening day of the season.
