Copper Bullets back from West Africa tour

Zambia National Team has arrived from its West African tour where they played two international friendly matches.

The Copper Bullets touched down at the Kenneth Kaunda International airport at 12:00 hrs aboard an Ethiopian airline flight.

Chipolopolo played Niger and Benin while in West Africa in matches the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) secured for the team to use as part of their preparation for the CHAN and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Chipolopolo drew 1-all with Niger before settling for a 2-2 draw with the Squirrels of Benin a game in which Orlando Pirates forward Justin Shonga netted a brace.

Zambia plays eSwatini on Saturday at 15:00 hours in the second leg of the final round of the Cameroon 2020 CHAN qualifier. The winner over two legs will qualify for the tournament that will be held next year in January.
