Arsenal manager Unai Emery has confirmed summer signing Kieran Tierney is in line for his Premier League bow when they visit Sheffield United on Monday night.
The left-back was signed last summer from Scottish side Celtic for £25million but has been out as he recovered from a double hernia operation following an injury at his former side.
Tierney, 22, made his first start in Arsenal colours as they swept Nottingham Forest 5-0 in the Carabao Cup, lasting 77 minutes.
He then clocked the full 90 minutes against Standard Liege in the Europa League, where he starred as they won 4-0.
"He’s ready to play. Now we have two options in that left-back role with Sead Kolasinac and him," Emery said.
"We’re going to play a lot of matches after Monday. We will need every player. It depends how he comes into the first training with us, Sead, after his international matches.
"We now have two players in that position and we can use one on Monday, it depends on how they are, one or the other,"
Emery has been boosted by the return of Alexandre Lacazette, who resumed full training this week and might be in contention for a start on Monday.
Arsenal are currently third on the standings, and there are high hopes for a top-four finish in the league.
