The much-feared trio of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mané and Mohamed Salah will hope to turn around their poor individual respective records against Man United to help propel Liverpool to an 18th consecutive Premier League win.
The Liverpool strikeforce has managed just two goals between them in 21 combined appearances against Man United across all competitions and only one of those goals came in the Premier League.
Senegalese star Mané is the only one of the three to register against Man United in the Premier League when he opened the scoring in Liverpool's 3-1 win over the Red Devils at Anfield in December last year.
Firmino's solitary goal against Manchester United came in the 2015/2016 Europa League. Egyptian superstar Mo Salah is yet to find the back of the net against United.
It's a strange set of statistics, especially if you consider how good their outputs have been against the rest of the Premier League top six. This season, Salah has scored twice against Arsenal and Firmino netted in the 2-1 win away at Chelsea.
Firmino has scored a hat-trick against Arsenal in the past and also registered at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium last season. During Mo Salah's record-breaking 32-goal season, he scored against all fellow tip six sides except for Man United.
