An action-packed night at the Sinobo Stadium as Barcelona sealed a 2-1 victory over Slavia Prague in Matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League.
Barcelona took control of the game from the first whistle and put up their defensive wall which denied Slavia any chance of taking possession.
In no time, Messi opened the scoreline with a cracker of a goal in the 3rd minute through Arthur who assisted the ball.
Slavia managed to find themselves and began pressing forward which resulted in them managed to create solid chances which would eventually see a goal.
The second half proved to be a much-improved feat for Slavia as Jan Boril found the back of the net to equalise with Barcelona - Lukas Masopust created the chance for his teammate by managing to hold off a defender and eventually passed it to Boril to convert.
Barcelona kept on pushing although the Slavia side was giving the former a run for their money - the La Liga outfit found an opportunity in the 57th minute through Luis Suarez but it was eventually claimed as an own goal from Peter Olanyika.
Three points for Barcelona sees them remain at the top of Group 7 with seven points accumulated.
