Despite their 2-0 loss to Enyimba in the CAF Confederation Cup playoff first leg, TS Galaxy boss Tim Sukazi has boasted of ousting the Nigerian club.
Victor Mbaoma gave Enyimba an early lead when he slotted the ball home after he was set up by Abdulrahman Bashir in the 7th minute before substitute Martins Usule netted the winner for the home team on the hour mark.
“Certainly, I’ve said it, we are on a clear mission. And now it may appear like a mountain to climb, it is indeed,” Sukazi said.
“Enyimba is a very strong side. Enyimba have got experience in continental football, but we know what we need to do. In the group stages, we will beat Enyimba (to reach there), simple.
“So, that’s exactly what is going to happen when we get back home in South Africa. And come the group stages, TS Galaxy will be there. I am saying that with absolute confidence because I know the plan. Yes, I know the plan.”
Founded in 2015, TS (Tim Sukazi) Galaxy, named after their owner, defeated giants Kaizer Chiefs to win the Nedbank Cup in May and thus, qualified to play in the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time in their history.
