Scotland international Callum McGregor has officially committed his long-term future to Celtic after signing a new five-year deal, RTE confirmed.
According to reports, McGregor had attracted the interest of Leicester City in which Celtic rejected offers - his new contract sees him remain at the club until the summer of 2024.
A club statement read: "Celtic are delighted to announce that Callum McGregor has signed a new five-year contract that will see him remain at the club until at least the summer of 2024."
McGregor who came through the Celtic Academy ranks was handed his official debut in 2012 and since then he has scored 55 goals from 290 competitive appearances.
The 26-year-old who featured 17 times for his native has won five Scottish Premiership titles, three Scottish Cups and three League Cups at Celtic - respectively.
