Everton are reportedly interested in shipping out Senagalese forward Oumar Niasse on loan ahead of the January transfer window, according to Liverpool Echo reports.
Niasse was initially signed for a fee in the region of £13.5 million (BBC) back in 2017 but his performances have proved dismal since then which doesn't quite equate to his price tag.
The Senegalese international has managed to score nine goals from 39 appearances for Everton and has found himself being sent out on loan - twice.
Cardiff City was his latest loan spell and once again it has proved unsuccessful after featured in 13 league games without scoring a single goal for the side - Cardiff were relegated to the English Championship and he returned to Everton in the summer.
Niasse is yet to make an appearance for the Toffees' first-team this season and it looks like the latter are more than keen to ship him out soon in order to save up on his alleged £55,000-a-week (Spotrac) wages.
The competition in the number nine role at Everton has peaked with manager Marco Silva having the options of Moise Kean, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Cenk Tosun and Richarlison at his disposal.
It comes as no surprise that the 28-year-old has fallen of favour at Goodison Park - it is yet to be seen what his next career move will be in January.
