Paul Scholes has tipped youngster Mason Greenwood to become a better goalscorer than Marcus Rashford for Manchester United.
Greenwood was on target on Thursday as United beat Partizan Belgrade 3-0 in a Europa League clash. The teenager started on the right-wing and netted his third goal of the season for the Red Devils however Scholes believes he will thrive in a more central role as he develops.
Speaking to BT Sport, Scholes said, "Everything seems so smooth."
"We talk about United not having a No.9 but he [Greenwood] could be a No.9 because of that sheer composure he has in front of goal. He calms himself down, he takes a touch. Marcus is capable of brilliant things and probably a scorer of great goals rather than a great goalscorer."
United will now turn their attention to the Premier League as they are set to face Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday 10th November.
