A section of Harambee Stars players left the country on Sunday 10 November night for Alexandria Egypt ahead of their 2021 African Cup of Nations Qualifier opener.
Egypt is set to host Stars on Friday 15 November with the Francis Kimanzi coached charges hosting Togo in Nairobi three days later at the MISC Kasarani.
Stars have been in non-residential training since last week with a chunk of the players being the local lads. The first foreign-based stars to arrive were Sweden based duo of Joseph Okumu and Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma.
On Sunday, they were joined by IF Bromma midfielder Eric Johanna and defender Harun Shakava of Nkana FC; the likes of Michael Olunga, Ayub Timbe and Captain Victor Wanyama expected to join the team in Egypt.
