Premier League champions Manchester City have decided not to appeal the one-match ban handed to Bernardo Silva following his tweet to teammate Benjamin Mendy.
Silva was handed a one-match ban and a £50,000 fine from the FA for his controversial tweet to Benjamin Mendy. The Portuguese posted an image to his teammate as a child on Twitter alongside a picture of a cartoon character on a packet of Conguitos, a sweet available in Spain and Portugal.
As reported by Sky Sports, City will not appeal to the one-match man meaning the midfielder will miss Premier League clash against Chelsea after the international break.
