Dutch-born Ghanaian Myron Boadu made his official debut for the Netherlands senior national team after his consistent and impressive performances with his club AZ Alkmaar, Football Ghana revealed.
Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman introduced Boadu as a second-half substitute to replace Luuk de Jong in the 63rd minute during the Euro 2020 qualifier against Estonia on Tuesday night.
The 18-year-old quickly repaid the faith of the manager and scored a cracker in the 87th minute of the contest through Kevin Strootman's assist.
The Netherlands eventually secured a 5-0 victory over Estonia - they are currently second in their respective Group C.
