Michael Olunga 27 Goals in Japan: The opponents who suffered against the Kenyan this season

Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga scored eight goals on the final day of the Japanese second-tier season to help Kashiwa Reysol beat Kyoto Sanga 13-1 on Sunday 24 November.

In the season, the Stars striker appeared in 30 games where he was introduced from the bench on two occasions, sat on the bench in four games without making an appearance and was substituted nine times; he received four yellow cards the entire season with no red card.

The striker scored 27 goals the entire season as he finished second in the golden boot race but which other teams suffered in his hands this season as he helped his side to promotion to the top flight?

The striker began his overseas career in Sweden with Djurgardens in 2016 before moving to Chinese club Guizhou Zhicheng, who loaned him to Girona in Spain before he signed for Kashiwa Reysol.

During his loan spell at Girona he became the first Kenyan and Girona player to score a hat-trick in La Liga as his side beat Las Palmas 6-0 in January 2018.
