English Premier League side Everton have reportedly prepared a bid of £12.8million for River Plater striker, Rafael Santos Borre ahead of the January transfer window according to Fox Sports.
However, according to the report, the offer may not be enough to tempt Borre into leaving the club as there is currently a £25.6m clause on his current contract (Sport Witness).
Toda Pasion revealed that River Plate are currently not listening to any offers for the 24-year-old until the Argentine Cup final concludes on December 13.
Reports have revealed that the youngster is on top form and could easily outshine Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin; which ideally it would make for healthy competition in the squad and more opportunities for goals - something that the Toffees are in desperate need of this season.
On the other hand, Borre has scored seven goals from 11 appearances for River Plate who are currently fifth on the Superliga Argentina table.
