Following a tough outing against Aston Villa, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has defended Andreas Pereira’s performances in the 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Victor Lindelof put United ahead in the 64th minute but the lead lasted for only two minutes as Tyrone Mings equalized to ensure Villa pick up a point.
Speaking in a press conference after the draw, Solskjaer defended Pereira's performance against Villa, "Andreas is improving all the time.
"He’s a young boy who’s working hard every single day to improve his game and he’s played a few games this year. We found, more or less, his position earlier on in the season.
"He’s an attacking midfielder. Of course, when you lack your three more experienced ones with Nemanja [Matic], Paul [Pogba] and Scott [McTominay], Andreas has to cover that role and he’s doing a job for the team."
