Lumwana Radiants have moved out of the relegation zone following a 2-0 win over Nakambala Leopards away in Choma.
A goal either side of halftime from Emmanuel Manda and Richard Zulu was enough to secure maximum points for coach Patrick Phiri. The win takes Lumwana to 11th place with 13 points while Nakambala remains stuck in the relegation zone and have now gone five games without a win.
In the second match of the day Green Eagles welcomed Red Arrows with both sides looking to move up on the log but at the end of ninety minutes, they could only settle for a point each as they shared the spoils.
Amity Shamende put Eagles in the lead in the third minute before veteran striker James Chamanga could level matters the 29th minute with his seventh game of the season.
