Celtic defender Jeremie Frimpong who was red-carded in the Scottish League Cup was upon realising that it did not cost his team in the end, Daily Record reported.
Frimpong saw red in the 63rd minute after his challenge on Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos in the box which could have seen them equalise.
However, it wasn't meant to be for the one-half of the Old Firm rivals and Fraser Forster cleared Morelos' chance and it was a happy outcome for Frimpong who received his first-ever career medal.
The 18-year-old took to social media to celebrate his club's win and one could clearly feel his delight in his post.
He said: "Oh my days" before launching into further celebration; Wow what a feeling beating Rangers in the final."
The Dutch-born youngster of Ghanaian descent has been enjoying his football since his move from Manchester City in the summer.
