Steven Gerrard has responded to reports linking Olivier Giroud with a move to Rangers.
Giroud has been linked with a move away from Chelsea after losing his place to youngster Tammy Abraham. Earlier in the week, French newspaper L'Equipe had claimed the Scotland side is keen to sign Giroud and had already made contact with the forward over a potential move.
However, Gerrard has laughed off the reports that his side is interested in signing Giroud.
"We are getting linked with some good players. I don't know anything about it, to be honest. If someone knows something about it, give them my number. That's the first I've heard of it. He's a good player, though," he said.
The 33-year-old whose contract with the Blues is set to expire next summer, has only made seven appearances for Frank Lampard's side this season.
