Zambia U20 Women's national team head coach Charles Haluboono has named a 28-member provisional squad for the FIFA 2020 preliminary round qualifier against South Africa next month.
Haluboono has named the majority of the team that won silver at the inaugural COSAFA Women's U20 COSAFA Championships in South Africa earlier this year and has also roped in a few other performing players from around the country.
The winner between Zambia and South Africa will face either Namibia or Botswana in the next round with two more rounds looming after that.
The young Queens hosts South Africa on the weekend of January 17-19 with the return leg slated for the window of January 31-February 2.
