Asante Kotoko legend and ex-Black Stars international Karim Abdul Razak has been left baffled by several coaches who aspire to coach Ghana.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) currently have an open vacancy after parting ways with Kwesi Appiah last month. The event was followed by a couple of local coaches who have openly expressed interest in taking up the job.
“I don’t know why everybody want to coach the Black Stars. Coaching Blacks Stars this days is no more attractive,” Razak said via Ghana Soccer Net.
Razak further added that the national seat has tended to be handed to coaches with little to no club success - including low international experience.
“Black Stars has become cheaper job so every coach wants it. What have those coaches who want the black Stars job done for their clubs or what have they won?
“We always pick inexperience coaches for Black Stars. That’s why we always fail,” Razak added.
