Lumwana Radiants captain ditches club for a move to Red Arrows

Lumwana Radiants captain Allan Kapila has left the Kalumbila based side as he closes in on a move to Lusaka based outfit Red Arrows.

Kapila's move to join the Airmen is a 'done deal' Futaa Zambia can confirm. Red Arrows are expected to announce his arrival any time soon.

Kapila confirmed his departure from Lumwana with a heartwarming goodbye message to the fans on Facebook.

The Long-serving servant of the Uranium Boys says he will forever be indebted to the club for what they have done for his career.

"Lumwana Radiants FC Family is forever, Thank you to this wonderful football club for picking up a boy from the flats and showing me a new life. Forever indebted for what you’ve done for me. To the Executive team, thanks for the love and care you showed me.

To my URANIUM BOYS, thanks for making this team rise to greater heights, I’m gonna miss you more than you know, you are my family and we’ve built something special here. No matter what I’ll always be a blood brother and hold you all in my heart. Am very grateful and excited about the next chapter in my life and looking forward to getting up there. Kapila becomes the first signing for Chisi Mbewe this transfer window and will give the Airmen options in the center back positions.
