Zambia Under-20 Women National Team coach Charles Haluboono has named a strong 20 member final squad to face South Africa in Saturday’s FIFA 2020 Women World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
Haluboono has named a blend of the Cosafa 2019 runners up players led by Luyando Foundation star midfielder Evarine Suzeni Katongo and new call ups.
Newcomers include Nkwazi Ladies midfield ace Towera Nkhata and Red Arrows Ladies lanky forward Ochumba Oseke.
Zambia hosts South Africa on Saturday at Nkoloma Stadium in the first leg of the preliminary qualifier for the FIFA World Cup race. Kick-off is set at 15:00hrs.
The return leg will be played in South Africa on the weekend of January 31 to February 2 with the winner over two legs taking on either Namibia or Botswana in the next round.
