⚽πŸ”₯ Five reasons to tune into Aston Villa vs Watford on Tuesday night

Aston Villa will host Watford at Villa Park on Tuesday night in what has been tipped as a big Premier League clash.

Villa will go into this fixture after coming off a thrilling 1-1 draw away to Brighton & Hove Albion over the weekend and they will be looking to pick up the maximum points to move up the table.

According to the club's official website, here are the five reasons why football fans alike should tune into the game.

  • Under the lights

There is always a unique buzz when Villa play at home and undoubtedly if you consider the strength there is in having a home ground advantage.

The Villans are currently unbeaten in five of their home games this season, winning four of those matches.

  • High stakes

There is only a point separating the two teams and this particular fixture is of utter importance as either side needs to secure three points as relegation is imminent if they struggle to maintain consistency.

There are 14 games left to play after this one but both teams will have it marked down as one they need to win.

  • Pepe Reina set for maiden debut at Villa Park

The Villa Park stadium is not new to the newly-minted goalkeeper as he made many appearances during his time at Liverpool.

Reina has previously admitted that the stadium is one of his favourites and he will be excited to be between the sticks wearing his Villa jersey.

Of course, he made a strong debut against Brighton and there is no doubt that the fans will be expecting him to keep the same energy at home.

  • Ready to battle and seek revenge

Dean Smith admitted that his side's 3-0 loss to Watford at Vicarage Road was one the worst matches he has endured this season and with the memory still etched at the back of his mind, the boss will be hoping to bring out everything he has to secure a home win.

  • Homegrown hero

Villa captain Jack Grealish has been one of the most exciting prospects to watch in the Premier League this season as he has continued to show his class with his pace, game control and not forgetting the impressive goals he has scored.

Grealish would be keen to play on home soil and get the fans cheering him on.
