French striker Olivier Giroud is attracting interest from Chelsea FC League rivals West Ham United according to reports from Football Insider.
Hammers boss David Moyes is looking to boost his attack and sees Giroud as a player who could help him in getting goals as he strives to change the fortunes of the club following the sacking of Manuel Pellegrini.
Giroud has been a subject of a transfer move this January with the France international doing all he can to be fit for Euro 2020 after being warned by his national team coach Didier Deschamps that he will have to play at his club to stand a chance of making his squad.
Chelsea is willing to send the striker out on loan for the rest of the season with Inter Milan being the other club said to be interested in the former Arsenal FC man.
Apart from West Ham and Inter, Aston Villa has been said to be interested in Giroud’s services but the acquisition of Mbwana Samatta complicates the entire process.
Moyes is looking for Sebastien Haller’s competitor in the striking position and sees Giroud’s experience in the league as a major ingredient to his ambitions for the club.
