Wales manager Ryan Giggs has urged Manchester United to sign Aston Villa's Jack Grealish and Leicester City's James Maddison in the January window.
Giggs who featured for United in his heydays believes both Grealish and Maddison can unlock defences in games something he feels has been lacking in their team.
Speaking in an interview with beIN Sports on Tuesday Giggs said: “I don’t think (Solskjaer) has got the players.
“I think he’s probably a couple of players short in actually changing that way of playing. That No.10, that focal point and also a midfielder. Whether Pogba’s that, he’s been so inconsistent. Obviously, on his day he could be that player.
“But they’re missing a Grealish or a Maddison, a player like that which can unlock the door.”
United have constantly been linked with the duo this January following injuries to Paul Pogba and Scott MacTominay with Jesse Lingard who can operate in the number 10 role having misfired for almost a year.
Apart from Grealish and Maddison, United is believed to have tabled a bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes as they look to add the needed creativity in their midfield.
24 year old has scored seven goals and made five assists in the Premier League this season with finding the back of the net six times and making three assists in the top flight so far this term.
