The Absa Premiership has learnt its December 2019 best Player & Coach.
Following five games between the 1st and 22nd of December, the league arrived to the conclusion that Mamelodi Sundowns’ Pitso Mosimane and Bidvest Wits’ Gift Motupa surpassed their peers as best Coach & Player.
Mosimane led Kabo Yellow to four unbeaten games - which included the sleek 2-1 win over Maritzburg United to lift the Telkom Knockout 2019 trophy in Durban.
Meanwhile, Wits’ clinical striker Motupa helped himself to Player of the Month after scoring three goals in as many games. The former Orlando Pirates striker immidiately credited his current coach Gavin Hunt. "My work rate has changed. Coach Gavin Hunt believes in players who work hard and who puts effort," Motupa told the PSL's Twitter.
