Jurgen Klopp provides injury update on Sadio Mane after win over Wolves

Following the 1-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane.

Mane was forced off in the 33rd minute with new signing from Red Bull Salzburg Takumi Minamino handed his Premier League debut.

The Senegalese tried to link up with team-mate, Mohamed Salah for a counter-attack but instead wandered towards the touchline, went to ground and was soon taken off.

Speaking in a press conference after the win over Wolves, Klopp provided an injury update on Mane, "Sadio is a real shame he had to go off.

"Hopefully it’s not too bad -just a muscle tweak but we will see tomorrow. It’s difficult enough. Sunday Shrewsbury, Wednesday West Ham, Saturday Southampton. That’s tough.

"We have to find solutions for all the games and that’s probably without Sadio."

Liverpool marched on to the title courtesy of Roberto Firmino’s late winner that settled proceedings after earlier goals from Jordan Henderson and Raul Jimenez.
